I’m Shiela Messick, one of the owners of Prudential California
Realty in Yuba City.  I’ve been in the Real Estate profession for 40 years.
I’ve seen the standard of practice evolve from a “buyer beware” attitude where
contracts were written on one page and no one thought to inspect,  to today’s
standard of disclosure, internet marketing, and multiple inspections.  This has
led to a much more informed Buyer, as well as protection for the Seller.  My
vision for this company is to provide the Sales Professionals with the education
and technological tools to best serve the interests of our customers.  We are
the first Real Estate Company in our area to have our completed files stored on
disks, with copies for our customers, providing much more efficient file
management and protection of client data, as well as a significant reduction in
paper waste.  I’m a graduate of UCDavis, past president of Peach Tree Golf and
Country Club, and past president of the Sutter Yuba Association of Realtors.   I
enjoy classical music, history, the theatre, and a relaxing golf game with
friends.  My family has lived in the Yuba Sutter area since 1856 and I love our
heritage and pioneer spirit.
