Hi, I’m Christy Onstott Baer.  My family is one of the pioneer families settling in the Mid Valley in the 1800’s.  I was raised in Yuba City, attended Barry School, and graduated from Yuba City High School.  I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley.  I’ve had the good fortune to live throughout the United States with my husband and children.  I was a realtor in Chicago, concentrating on the needs of families relocating to the area.  I provided clients with necessary information to make educated decisions regarding the best environment for their family dynamics, including detailed analysis of the quality of schools, police and fire protection and a myriad of social and economic considerations.  My community involvement included serving as President of the Glencoe Parents Teachers Association.

In 2006, my husband and I returned to Yuba City to be closer to family and friends.  Since that time, I have become a Certified Distressed Property Expert (“CDPE”).  A CDPE is a real estate professional with extensive knowledge of specific and complex issues facing today’s real estate industry and the foreclosure avoidance options available to homeowners.  I am committed to help buyers and sellers with creative solutions to their housing needs and I enjoy working with clients as they fulfill their dreams in this difficult but ever changing real estate environment.
